Dear, Younger Me

There is a song playing on Christian radio that is titled, “Dear, Younger Me.” I wonder if you have heard the song. The premise of the song is simple. If we could give the younger version of ourselves some advice, what would it be?

Let My People Go:

All of us have seasons of life that we view as wasted years. If you do not, hang on. It will happen. We experience these seasons for different reasons. Sometimes we are running from God. Other times we are relying on our own abilities.

Psalm 138

Do you have a “go to” passage of scripture that consistently speaks truth into your life? I remember the day that God gave a “go to” passage to me. I was speaking at a weekend event. On Friday night, I delivered a message about the holiness of God.

A Good Shepard

When I was a little girl, I learned a song. “My God is so great, so strong and so mighty, there is nothing my God cannot do... for you!” Sometimes we need to be reminded of this simple, yet profound, truth. God is great and He is mighty. There is nothing that is too difficult for Him!

It matters what we want

My son volunteered to take me to the gym. He is sixteen. I am forty. He is athletic. I am not. I took the challenge. It was not pretty. We started by warming up on the bicycles. To be honest, I felt like the “warm up” was a pretty good workout. I was ready to call it a day after two miles.
